BaBylissPRO sells six different clipper lines: COREFX, LO-PROFX Compact, FXONE, the FX+ all-metal series, the Tomb45 collaboration and the Dual Coil. They look alike on a product grid, but they are built for different barbers.
This month we added the COREFX in camo, the LO-PROFX Compact in red and the BlackFX+ all-metal clipper and trimmer set. So here is every line side by side, with the one clipper we would pick from each.

The 8 best BaBylissPRO clippers in 2026
BaBylissPRO FXONE Lo-ProFX Clipper (FX829)
$259.99
Best for: Barbers who cut fades all day and want the most complete BaBylissPRO clipper
The Lo-ProFX is one of the most searched BaBylissPRO clippers, and it earns the top spot here. It pairs the N1 brushless motor with a zero-gap Blue Titanium MIM fade blade that has its own oil reservoir, so the blade runs cooler through a long day. The ultra-low-profile metal shield keeps it close to the head on tight tapers, and the interchangeable battery means a fresh pack is one click away.
- N1 brushless motor, 6,800 RPM / 13,600 SPM
- Blue Titanium MIM fade blade (FX8022BL), zero-gap adjustable
- Built-in blade oil reservoir
- Interchangeable FXONE battery (FXBB24), up to 2.5 hours
- 4-stage LED battery ring
- 5-detent locking stretch taper lever
Watch out for: At $259.99 it costs more than twice as much as COREFX, and 2.5 hours per battery is shorter than the SilverFX+ or Tomb45. A second FXONE battery solves that.
See price and detailsLimited editions: Black & Blue ($259.99) and Matte Red ($209.99).
BaBylissPRO COREFX Clipper (FX86)
$119.99
Best for: Barbering students, second-chair backups and anyone who wants BaBylissPRO under $120
COREFX is the entry point to the BaBylissPRO lineup, and the listing pitches it at students as well as working barbers. You get the same 6,800 RPM motor speed as the FXONE clippers, a zero-gap stainless steel taper blade, a 5-position locking taper lever and USB-C charging, in a lighter body with a non-slip metal grip.
- High-speed motor, 6,800 RPM
- Stainless steel taper blade (FX801J), zero-gap adjustable
- 5-position locking extended taper lever
- 2 hours cordless runtime
- USB-C charging
- 6 guards, cleaning brush and oil included
Watch out for: A stainless taper blade instead of the MIM fade blades on the pricier lines, and 2 hours of runtime. Fine for most days, not for back-to-back fades from open to close.
See price and detailsNew this month in camo (FX86CAM), $109.99.
BaBylissPRO LO-PROFX Compact Clipper (FX82)
$189.99
Best for: Mobile barbers, travel kits and anyone who wants a smaller clipper in the hand
The Compact puts a full-size fade blade in a smaller, scratch-resistant anodized aluminum body. It carries the same Black Titanium MIM fade blade with an oil reservoir as the bigger Lo-ProFX family, runs up to 2.5 hours, and comes with a 3-in-1 charging stand that keeps your station tidy.
- High-speed motor, 6,800 RPM
- Black Titanium MIM fade blade (FX8022B), zero-gap adjustable
- Built-in blade oil reservoir
- Up to 2.5 hours cordless runtime
- 3-in-1 charging stand, USB-C
- 6 comb attachments
Watch out for: It is the smallest body in this guide. If you have large hands or prefer a full-size grip, hold one before you buy.
See price and detailsNew this month in limited edition red (FX82RD), $179.99. Also sold as a clipper and trimmer set.
BaBylissPRO FXONE BlackFX Clipper (FX899MB)
$249.99
Best for: Barbers who want the full-size all-metal FXONE body and swappable batteries
The FXONE BlackFX is the full-size, all-metal sibling of the Lo-ProFX. It shares the N1 brushless motor, the oil-reservoir MIM blade and the interchangeable battery, so FXONE batteries swap between your FXONE tools. The knurled metal barbell grip and removable hair pocket door are made for heavy daily use.
- N1 brushless motor, 6,800 RPM / 13,600 SPM
- Black Graphite ultra-thin MIM blade (FX8022B), zero-gap
- Interchangeable FXONE battery (FXBB24), up to 2.5 hours
- 4-stage LED battery ring
- 5-detent locking stretch taper
- All-metal housing, knurled barbell grip
Watch out for: Same 2.5-hour battery as the Lo-ProFX, in a heavier all-metal body. If weight matters to you, hold one first or start with the Lo-ProFX.
See price and detailsAlso in GoldFX (FX899G) ($299.99) and BlueFX (FX899BL) ($259.99).
BaBylissPRO x Tomb45 Wireless-Charging Clipper (FXT45C)
$249.99
Best for: Long shifts, and barbers who want cord-free charging at the station
The Tomb45 collaboration clipper has the longest listed runtime in this guide: up to 4 hours from dual lithium-ion batteries. Its DS1 dual-speed motor runs 7,500 RPM for bulk cutting or 6,800 RPM for controlled detail work, and it charges on a wireless pad, by USB-C, or runs corded on the FXCORD.
- DS1 dual-speed motor, 7,500 / 6,800 RPM
- Black Titanium MIM fade blade with oil reservoir
- Dual lithium-ion batteries, up to 4 hours
- Battery-level LED screen
- Wireless charging (pad sold separately), USB-C and FXCORD
- 5-position locking stretch taper lever
Watch out for: The wireless charging pad is sold separately. Without one you are paying for a feature you will not use.
See price and detailsAlso sold as the Tomb45 clipper and trimmer set.
BaBylissPRO Dual Coil Clipper (FX95C)
$305.00
Best for: Thick and coarse hair, fast bulk removal
The FX95C uses a linear dual-coil motor at 9,500 RPM, the highest listed speed in this guide, with adaptive torque feedback that adjusts power as it moves through thick, coarse or fine hair. It cuts with a 22-tooth MIM space blade and comes with a Halo charging stand and magnetic guards.
- Linear dual-coil motor, 9,500 RPM
- Adaptive torque feedback
- 22-tooth MIM space blade (FX8095), zero-gappable
- Up to 3 hours cordless runtime
- USB-C plus Halo charging stand
- 6 magnetic guard combs
Watch out for: The most expensive single clipper here. If your book is mostly fades on fine or medium hair, you may not need the extra power.
See price and detailsBaBylissPRO SilverFX+ Clipper (FX870NS)
$219.99
Best for: Barbers who want the classic all-metal FX shape with a longer battery
The upgraded SilverFX+ keeps the iconic all-metal FX body and knurled barbell grip, and adds the N1 brushless motor and a 3,300 mAh battery rated up to 3 hours. It runs corded or cordless, with USB-C or a standard cord.
- N1 brushless motor, 6,800 RPM / 13,600 SPM
- 3,300 mAh lithium-ion battery, up to 3 hours
- Cord or cordless operation
- USB-C and standard cord charging
- All-metal housing, knurled barbell grip
Watch out for: No swappable battery. When it runs low you plug it in rather than swap a fresh pack, as you can with FXONE.
See price and detailsSame clipper in GoldFX+ (FX870NG) ($219.99) and RoseFX+ (FX870NRG) ($229.99).
BaBylissPRO BlackFX+ All-Metal Clipper & Trimmer Combo (FXCTMBPK)
$329.99
Best for: Barbers replacing both clipper and trimmer at once
New this month. The clipper in this matte black set runs the N1 brushless motor at 6,800 RPM with a zero-gap Black DLC fade blade and a 5-detent taper arm, and the matching all-metal trimmer handles line-ups and beard detail. Both run cord or cordless, are dual voltage and charge by USB-C.
- Clipper: N1 brushless motor, 6,800 RPM
- Clipper: zero-gap Black DLC fade blade, 5-detent taper arm
- Clipper: up to 3 hours cordless runtime
- Matching all-metal trimmer for line-ups
- Cord/cordless, dual voltage, USB-C compatible

Not set on BaBylissPRO? Meet the Andis Talon
Andis's newest flagship cordless clipper, also new this month: a 2-speed rotary motor (7,000 / 9,000 SPM), a digital battery and speed display, up to 2 hours of runtime and USB-C charging. $129.99.
See the Andis Talon →How to choose a BaBylissPRO clipper
Blade
MIM fade blades (FXONE, Compact, Tomb45) are built for zero-gap fades and carry their own oil reservoir. COREFX uses a stainless taper blade; the FX95C a 22-tooth space blade.
Motor
Most of the lineup lists 6,800 RPM. The Tomb45 adds a 7,500 RPM high speed, and the FX95C's linear dual-coil motor lists 9,500 RPM.
Battery
FXONE clippers take a swappable battery, so a spare pack doubles your day. The Tomb45 lists up to 4 hours; SilverFX+ and FX95C up to 3.
Size and weight
The LO-PROFX Compact is the smallest body. FXONE and the FX+ clippers are all-metal full-size tools. Hold one before you commit if weight matters.
Charging
USB-C is standard across the line. The Tomb45 also charges on a wireless pad (sold separately), and the Compact and FX95C come with charging stands.
Matching your setup
Pair the clipper with a trimmer and foil shaver from the same line so grip and finish match. See our foil shaver guide below.
BaBylissPRO clipper FAQ
Which BaBylissPRO clipper is best?
For most barbers, the FXONE Lo-ProFX (FX829): MIM fade blade, brushless motor, swappable battery and a low-profile head. On a budget, COREFX gives you the same 6,800 RPM listed speed for $119.99. For thick hair, the Dual Coil FX95C has the most power.
Is BaBylissPRO better than Wahl?
Neither wins across the board. It comes down to the motor, blade, weight and grip you like. BaBylissPRO's advantage is range: a clipper for every budget and size, with matching trimmers and foil shavers. Compare the Wahl options in our best cordless clippers guide.
Which BaBylissPRO blade is best?
It depends on the job. The MIM fade blades on the FXONE, LO-PROFX Compact and Tomb45 clippers are built for zero-gap fades and have an oil reservoir that keeps them cooler. COREFX uses a stainless steel taper blade. The FX95C uses a 22-tooth MIM space blade, and the BlackFX+ uses a Black DLC fade blade.
Do FXONE batteries swap between tools?
Yes. FXONE clippers use an interchangeable lithium battery pack with a quick-release button, and BaBylissPRO lists it as swappable between FXONE tools. A spare battery is the easiest way past the 2.5-hour runtime.
Which BaBylissPRO clipper is best for beginners?
COREFX. It is the lowest-priced BaBylissPRO clipper line we carry, its listing is aimed at students as well as pros, and it has a 5-position taper lever and USB-C charging.
